After the completion of the trenching machine operation, the equipment should be left for a long time and can only be used in the next operating season. Proper storage of the equipment is of great significance for extending its service life. To do a good job in the storage of machinery, attention should be paid to the following six aspects:
1. Remove soil and oil stains from the machinery.
2. Remove easily worn parts such as trenchers, gears, and sprockets, remove dust and oil stains, and repair or replace damaged parts. Apply rust proof oil to the easily rusted parts, and then reassemble or store them by category.
3. Clean the bearings and rotating parts, and add sufficient lubricating oil to each lubrication point.
4. Apply anti rust paint again to the areas where the paint has peeled off.
5. Loosen the chains, tape, and springs to maintain their natural state and prevent deformation.
6. Lift the trencher off the ground. Park the equipment in a dry and ventilated warehouse. Plastic and rubber parts should be protected from sunlight and oil pollution to prevent accelerated aging.
