Operation steps of the skid steer soil conditioner in construction

Nov 01, 2024

The skid steer soil conditioner plays an important role in various construction sites. The following are its specific operation steps:
1. Preparation before construction
Equipment inspection: Carefully check the blades, connecting parts, hydraulic system and other key parts of the skid steer soil conditioner. Make sure that the blades are sharp and undamaged, the connections are firm and not loose, and the hydraulic pipelines are leak-free. Check the oil condition of the equipment, including engine oil, hydraulic oil, etc., to ensure that the oil is within the normal liquid level range. Check the electrical system to ensure that the line connection is normal and there are no faults such as short circuits.
Get familiar with the site: Survey the construction site in advance to understand the terrain, soil conditions and whether there are obstacles. Develop a reasonable construction plan based on the actual situation of the site. Mark the location of underground pipelines, cables and other facilities to prevent damage during construction.
Prepare tools: Prepare commonly used maintenance tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, etc., so that equipment can be adjusted and repaired during construction. Prepare necessary safety protection supplies, such as safety helmets, gloves, etc.

2. Equipment installation and commissioning
Correct installation: Install the skid loader on the main machine such as the skid loader, and follow the installation instructions to ensure that the connection is firm and reliable. Connect the hydraulic pipeline and electrical circuit to ensure that the connection is correct.
Debug the equipment: Start the main machine, let the skid loader idle for a while, observe whether the equipment runs smoothly, whether the blade rotates normally, and whether there is any abnormal noise and vibration. Adjust the height and angle of the blade to adapt it to the construction requirements and soil conditions.

3. Construction operation
Enter the site: Drive the main machine slowly to drive the skid loader into the construction site, and pay attention to avoid obstacles. Determine the starting position and construction direction according to the construction plan.
Start the operation: Start the skid loader and let the blade rotate. Control the main machine to move forward at an appropriate speed to crush, plow and level the soil. Adjust the forward speed and blade rotation speed according to the soil hardness and construction requirements. Reduce the speed and increase the blade speed when the soil is hard; increase the speed appropriately when the soil is soft.
Handle obstacles: When encountering obstacles such as stones and tree roots, stop moving immediately and turn off the land leveler. Use tools to clear obstacles or adjust the construction route to avoid them.
Complete the task: After the construction is completed, turn off the skid loader and lift it to a certain height. Drive the main machine to drive the equipment away from the construction site.

4. Cleaning and maintenance after construction
Clean the equipment: Remove dirt, weeds and other debris from the skid loader to keep the equipment clean. You can use a high-pressure water gun to rinse, but avoid water entering the electrical and hydraulic systems. Check the blade wear and replace or repair it if necessary.
Maintain the equipment: Perform comprehensive maintenance on the equipment, add oil to each lubrication point, and check and tighten each component. Store the equipment in a dry and ventilated place and take protective measures.
