Bulldozer is a common earthmoving machinery that is widely used in construction sites, coal mines, livestock farms, and land leveling. Many people think that operating a bulldozer is simple and not as complex as an excavator. But the actual situation is that although bulldozers are easy to operate, they have more coping conditions. Just pick up the shovel and during the bulldozing operation, the angle of the shovel is also very important for reducing the bulldozing resistance and improving the performance of the operation. How should the angle of the bulldozer blade be adjusted?
One push angle
The angle of the bulldozer blade and its adaptability are usually three basic angles during operation: plane angle (α), inclination angle (β), and shovel angle (γ).
1, Plane angle
The angle of the plane refers to the horizontal plane. According to the change in the angle of the shovel plane, bulldozers are divided into fixed shovel bulldozers and mobile shovel bulldozers. The fixed bulldozer has a blade angle of 90 degrees and is fixed, ensuring good working stability. The blade angle of the mobile bulldozer can be adjusted within a certain range. After adjusting a certain angle to the left or right in the horizontal plane, lateral unloading of soil can be achieved, which is called an inclined shovel. The inclined shovel is used to level the site and construct a half excavation and half filling roadbed or other soil cutting operations in sloping sections. The shovel blade described in this invention, which forms a right angle with the longitudinal axis of the bulldozer, is called a front shovel and is generally used. So, mobile bulldozers can adapt to changes in terrain and construction requirements, and their applications are becoming increasingly widespread.
2. Tilt angle
The sharp angle between the shovel blade and the ground in a vertical plane. After tilting at a certain angle in the vertical plane, the excavator is called a side shovel. The side shovel is mainly used for repairing arched roadbeds, excavating roadside ditches or soft hard soil.
3. Digging corners
The digging angle refers to the sharp angle between the blade and the ground when the shovel is supported. By changing the size of the digging angle and the cutting resistance of the shovel, it can adapt to different soil grades and improve work efficiency. When pushing Grade I soil, the digging angle should be increased, and when pushing Grade II and III soil, the digging angle should be appropriately reduced.
2, How to adjust the angle of the bulldozer blade
The exception is that the flat angle (90 ° or ± 65 °), oblique angle (0-4.6 °), or the angle that can make one blade angle of the bulldozer about 0-300 mm from the other blade angle can be adjusted. The adjustment method is mechanical and relatively complex. Before adjustment, to facilitate the adjustment and ensure safety, first support the shovel holder with a wooden pad at a height of about 400 mm above the ground.
1, Flat angle adjustment method
When adjusting, first pull out the support pins on both sides from the support rod seat holes of the push frame; When a left diagonal shovel is needed, turn the shovel blade 65 degrees to the left, then insert the left strut seat pin into the rear pin hole of the push frame, and then insert the right strut seat pin into the front pin hole of the push frame; When a right angled shovel is needed, the adjustment process is the opposite of the above process. To reset the front shovel, first move the left and right pins, and then insert them into the middle seat pin holes on both sides of the push frame.
2. Adjustment of tilt angle
During the adjustment process, in order to achieve the desired tilt angle, a wrench should be used to shorten the upper support rod on one side, and the extension method of the upper support rod on the other side should be adjusted accordingly. If after adjusting a certain length, it still cannot meet the requirements of the side shovel, the lower support rod can be adjusted by reducing the elongation of one side of the lower support rod and shortening the other side of the lower support rod.
3. Corner digging adjustment
If it is necessary to increase the digging angle during adjustment, the length of the upper support rod can be extended and the length of the lower support rod can be shortened; To reduce the digging angle, the upper support rod should be shortened and the lower support rod should be extended. The above is a simple explanation on how to adjust the angle of the bulldozer blade. I hope it will be helpful after reading.
